Would you like to sell your used musical instrument or amplifier? Let Strings & Things Music do the work for you. Just bring your item in to the store where one of our team members will be happy to evaluate your item and help you begin the consignment process.
The potential sale value of your pre-owned instrument is based on many factors including functionality, condition, and current market demand for the particular model being sold. After evaluating these factors we will agree upon both an original listing price and a minimum sale price.
When accepting an item for consignment we will take attractive photos, write a detailed description including all pertinent information, list your item for sale on multiple websites, display the item in our showroom when appropriate, and deal with all facets of the sale including shipping when necessary. Your item is always meticulously maintained in our climate-controlled showroom, and is only in the hands of serious potential buyers during a demonstration with our staff.
Our consignment period runs 90 days. The owner may remove the consigned instrument at any point during that period. Instruments are only released to the the consigned owner. Store commission is 25% of the item’s sale price. Payment for sold items will be made available 7 days after the sale. Our experience and expertise, combined with a unique, personal approach to customer service, has allowed us to thrive as an independent business in tax-free New Hampshire for over 30 years.
