Beginning violin/fiddle lessons for children and adults

Noel started playing in elementary school orchestra and continued classical lessons with several local teachers.  Nearing retirement she began taking fiddle lessons and has since continued with teachers such as Ellen Carlson and Liz Faiella at CCMS.   Noel participates in the NH Fiddle Ensemble and the Adult Fiddle Ensemble at the music school. She plays weekly with a local Irish group and another local group of ladies.  She hosts a weekly time to play at her home. She performs for charitable purposes with a group named “Custard Pie with Nuts” and other groups who also play for charitable organizations.

Teaching Philosophy

Learning to play violin is immensely rewarding and playing with others is a fun, productive way to improve your skills.  Learning by ear, classical technique, reading music are all skills that can be developed with time.  Music is fun and lasts a lifetime.
