Teaching Experience

Mikey has been an instructor at Strings & Things Music since the ’90’s. Many a student has progressed to the point of joining Mike on stage at one of the many open mic gatherings that he hosts around town, or even playing professionally.

 

Professional Experience

As they say, If you haven’t heard of Mikey G, then, you aren’t from around here. With 30 plus years of playing in the local music scene and beyond, Mike’s specialties run the gamut from red hot Texas Blues to contemporary fingerpicking.  He currently hosts open mic at Tandy’s Bar & Grille every Tuesday.  Mikey G is one of the areas busiest performers, playing solo acoustic shows, rock/blues concerts with Train Wreck, and a variety of music with 12oz Soul.
